The Wacken Open Air 2022 can take place! After two years of forced break due to the Corona pandemic, there is green light for all summer festivals at home and abroad.

The W:O:A will be held this year from August 4th - 8th, 2022, with Wacken Wednesday celebrating its premiere one day before, on August 3rd.

Joining Wacken Wednesday:
Tobias Sammet's Avantasia + Epica + Gloryhammer + Brothers of Metal + Varang Nord (Metal Battle Winner).

Slipknot, Judas Priest and Till Lindemann are invited as top acts. Slipknot and Lindemann will give their premiere on the holy field of Northern Germany, while Judas Priest will celebrate their 50th anniversary.

Tickets? There are already no more! After the Wacken Open Air 2020 was completely sold out within 21 hours, the tickets will of course keep their validity due to the pandemic. All info about tickets and who to contact in case of questions is described here on the W:O:A website.
