Frankfurt, July 4, 2022 - Iron Maiden's Legacy of the Beast Tour returns with historic record numbers and celebrates a triumphant return to Germany. The legendary British metal band kicked off its German tour over the weekend with a sold-out show in Cologne in front of 40,000 fans, followed by another sold-out show today at Berlin's legendary Waldbühne.

The current show is being hailed by fans and media alike as the most exciting and visually spectacular performance of the band's career to date, with a decade-spanning setlist of fan favorites.

Press reviews from the tour opener:

"Acclaimed return. The British band Iron Maiden performs again in Cologne after more than 26 years. The energy with which the gentlemen still whirl across the stage is remarkable." - Kölner Stadtanzeiger

"In heavy metal heaven. Iron Maiden sweep the audience away in the sold-out Rheinenergie Stadium. Goosebumps despite summer temperatures." - Rheinische Post

"Iron Maiden thrill the audience in Cologne's Rheinenergie Stadium with an excellent stage show. Iron Maiden show once again why they are rightly considered legends. They simply do more than heavy metal. They stage epics to sing along to, visually powerful, rhythmically complex and narratively impressive works that have lost nothing of their fascination and musical power even after four decades." - Kölnische Rundschau

Over 160,000 tickets have already been sold for the July concerts in Cologne, Berlin, Bremen, Stuttgart and Frankfurt. In total, over a quarter of a million fans will have attended the Legacy Of The Beast Tour shows in Germany alone.

The European leg of the tour and the band's return to live stages after the Pandemic hiatus kicked off on May 22 in Zagreb, Croatia.

The Legacy Of The Beast World Tour concept was inspired by IRON MAIDEN's mobile game and comic of the same name. The stage set will present a series of distinct but interlocking "worlds," with a setlist covering a wide range of material, including eight songs from the Eighties, spiced up with a handful of surprises from later albums, including tracks from their new album Senjutsu, which went to No. 1 in Germany - their fourth consecutive No. 1 studio album - and was one of the best-selling albums of 2021 in Germany."
